Herefordshire has some of the best local produce in the UK. What better way to experience it at one of the local restaurants in Ross on Wye. Don’t forget to sample the Herefordshire cider while you are there at Broome Farm or Weston Cider just to name a few of the many. The area is famed for its fruit and produces some of the best strawberries and apples in the UK. We even have our own apple, plum and damson trees in our garden, which we use to make our own jam and compote… Make sure to ask Celia if you would like to know how to make them. Bridstow Guest House also has a cookery school for you to hone all your culinary skills whether you are a complete beginner or expert there is a class for you.

Restaurants in the area are plentiful and not too far from Bridstow Guest House if you would like a treat and a bit of fine dining then have a look at The Moody Cow, The Loughpool or Number 3.If you would to sit and enjoy the scenery over a glass of something then try The White Lion or The Royal Hotel.
